En el año 2020 los Moriche-Ruiz recuperaron la casa que el primer alcalde franquista les robó en 1936 en el pueblo de Castellar de la Frontera (Cádiz).
Tras fallecer la abuela Ana, descubrieron que la casa de la calle Corralete 9 figuraba a su nombre desde 1919, pero ella nunca dijo nada.
Así, pone sobre la mesa el expolio y la represión económica franquista, que llegan hasta hoy día.
La casa, testigo mudo de la historia, se convierte en protagonista.
Desvela su propia historia, a través de imágenes de archivo que se le proyectan encima. Trae luz sobre la memoria y el silencio.

In 2020, the Moriche-Ruiz family recovered the house that the first pro-Franco mayor stole from them in 1936 in the village of Castellar de la Frontera (Cádiz).
After the death of grandmother Ana, they discovered that the house at Corralete Street had been in her name since 1919, but she never said anything. The younger generation of the family managed to recover the use of the house, and with it part of their family history.
It brings to the center Franco’s economic repression and despoilment, the effects of which are still felt today.
The house, a silent witness to history, becomes the protagonist. It unveils its own history, through archive images that are projected onto it. It brings light on memory and silence.
